28 Offers Have Been Submitted for the Design and Construction of the Zheleznitsa Tunnel on the Struma Motorway

28 offers have been submitted in the open procedure for the design and construction of the Zheleznitsa Tunnel on the Struma Motorway Lot 3.1. The indicative design value of this public procurement contract is 250 million Bulgarian leva, excluding VAT. The project is co-financed by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union and the national budget through OP Transport and Transport Infrastructure (OPTTI) 2014-2020.

The public procurement has been divided in 3 separate positions – one for the tunnel, which shall be about 2 km long and will be the longest tunnel, built in Bulgaria so far, and two positions for the road sections, before and after the tunnel. The public procurement has been divided into three separate parts, so that works on the site could be carried out simultaneously and so that the project could be completed within the time-frame of OP TTI 2014 – 2020.

The following bids have been submitted for position 1: For Subsection No.1 from km 366 + 000 to km 366 + 720, including a service tunnel road at the northern gate of the Zheleznitsa tunnel, bids have been submitted by the following Tenderers:

• Association 'Patstroy-92 - MOSTREMONT' , with the participation of: Patstroy 92 AD and MOSTREMONT 97 OOD;
• DZZD 'Zheleznitsa – Sever', which includes the following companies: 'GBS Infrastructural Construction' AD, Glavbolgarstroy AD and Glavbolgarstroy International EAD;
• 'Kalistratov Group' OOD;
• 'HYDROSTROY' AD;
• ASSOCIATION 'STRUMA – ZHELEZNITSA', in which are comprised the following companies: 'TRACE GROUP HOLD' AD, 'TRACE-SOFIA' EAD, ALVE CONSULT' EOOD;
• DZZD 'ORS – M', comprising the following companies: 'MOSTCONSULT' OOD, 'ORS INFRASTRUCTURE' OOD;
• DZZD 'APV TUNNEL ZHELEZNITSA 1', in which are comprised the following companies: 'AGROMACH' EOOD, 'PATISHTA PLOVDIV' AD and 'VODNO STROITELSTVO – BLAGOEVGRAD' AD.

Indicative design value: 33 545 308 Bulgarian leva, excluding VAT. The time-frame for the design, construction and assembly works shall be 660 calendar days.

The following bids have been submitted for position 2: For Subsection No.2 from km 366 +720 to km 369 +000, including the service tunnel road at the southern gate of the 'Zheleznitsa' tunnel and the helicopter platform, bids have been submitted by the following Tenderers:
