6 are the Candidates for Construction of the Toll System

At the Road Infrastructure Agency the tenders were opened of the participants in the public procurement for design, construction and introduction of electronic system for collection of the fees for using the national road network. The system will be based on a distance traveled for vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum laden mass over 3,5 t (toll) and time-based for passenger cars with a total technically permissible laden maximum mass of up to 3,5 t (electronic vignette).
The opened tenders in the order of their entry into the Registry of API are of:
- BG PAT Inc., in which participate KONTRAX PLC and I-CELL GLOBAL SOLUTIONS LTD, Hungary;
- KAPSCH TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS, in which participate Kapsch Telematic Technologies – Bulgaria, Kapsch Telematics Services – Poland, Kapsch TrafficCom – Italy, Kapsch TrafficCom Transportation – Spain;
- TOLLNET A. S., Czech Republic;
- CIELA NORMA AD;
- TELETOLL DZZD, in which participate BTC EAD, NOVANOR LTD, ICOM LTD;
- TOLL BULGARIA Consortium, in which participate TELELINK, CNSYS PLC, SIRMA SOLUTIONS PLC.
The term for implementation of the public procurement is 19 months and the indicative value is 200 million BGN, VAT excluded.
