The Contractor for Construction of 16 km of Hemus Мotorway from Belokopitovo Road Junction in Direction to Targovishte was Selected

The contractor for design and construction of 16.3 km of Hemus motorway – the section between road junctions Belokopitovo and Buhovtsi in the direction to Targovishte was selected. The implementation of the project will be funded by the national budget under the “New construction” program of the Road Infrastructure Agency.

The first-ranked candidate is Hemus 16320 DZZD, with the participation of: Infra-Expert EOOD, Patengineering-T EAD, Abtomagistrali – Cherno More AD and Transconsult-22 OOD. The price offered by the company is BGN 119 785 000 excluding VAT. The term for the execution of the public procurement with subject-matter “Preparation of technical design and construction (engineering) of site: Hemus Motorway, section from km 310 + 940 to km 327 + 260” is 910 days, 180 days of which for design and 730 days for construction.

The motorway section will have two traffic lanes in each direction, two emergency stop lanes, central dividing strip, leading strips and banquets. It is envisaged the construction of 6 viaducts, on the Buhovtsi road junction for connection with the third-class road III-5102 Mirovets – Pevez, of a new connection with road I-4 Shumen –  Targovishte at Belokopitovo road junction, a bridge and 11 crossings with agricultural roads.
