The Public Procurement for the Rehabilitation of Another 14 km of Trakia Motorway is Open

The tender procedure for the rehabilitation of another 14.4 km from the old sections of  Trakia Motorway is open. They are on the territory of the region of Plovdiv. Project Lot 27B of „Transit Roads V“ Program is for the rehabilitation of Trakia motorway (Sofia-Plovdiv) from km 119+200 to km 133+600, inclusive of all the big structures and links of the road junctions: „Benkovski“, „Plovdiv-West“, „Plovdiv-North“ and „Plovdiv-East“. The indicative value of the procurement is 20 million Euro.

The public procurement for the design and the rehabilitation of 32 km of Trakia motorway, which are at the exit of Sofia and on the territory of the region of Pazardjik started up on 25 February this year. They are included in Lot 27А and are for section 1 – performance of design and rehabilitation of Trakia motorway (Sofia – Plovdiv) from km 5+500 to km 10+000 – left carriageway and from km 5+500 to km 10+000 – right carriageway; section 2 - „Rehabilitation of Trakia motorway (Sofia – Plovdiv) – from km 63+000 to km 90+200 – right carriageway and from km 62+500 to km 90+200 – left carriageway, including  the adjoining road links of road junctions „Tserovo“, „Kalugerovo“ and „Gelemenovo“. The indicative value of Lot 27А is 30 million Euro.

The bidders may submit their bids for Lot 27Б up to 17 hours on 14 April this year, and for Lot 27А - 7 April this year. The criterion for selection of a Contractor of both Projects is the economically most advantageous offer. The term for execution of the public procurement is up to 18 months after the signing of the Contract with the selected contractor.

Over 46 km of Trakia motorway will be rehabilitated under the two public procurements. The indicative investment is for about 50 million Euro.
