The Road Infrastructure Agency starts the public procurement procedure for the construction of another 16 km of Hemus motorway from Belokopitovo road junction to Targovishte
The Road Infrastructure Agency starts the tender procedure for technical designs and construction of 16.3 km of Hemus motorway – the section between Belokopitovo road junction and Buhovtsi road junction in the direction of Targovishte. The indicative value of the public procurement is BGN 133 million, VAT excluded.
The motorway section will have two traffic lanes in each direction, two stopping lanes, a central dividing strip, leading lines and lay-bys. The project will have 6 viaducts, a road junction to connect with the III-5102 road from Mirovets to Pevets, a new connection with the I-4 road from Shumen to Targovishte at Belokopitovo road junction, a bridge and 11 crossings with farm roads.
This is the second tender procedure for construction of a section of Hemus motorway that the Agency starts within less than 2 months. On 7 July the public procurement was announced for the design and construction of about 10 km of Hemus motorway – between Yablanitsa and Boaza in the direction of Veliko Tarnovo, and on 23 August the offers of 11 candidates were opened.
On 22 July the tender procedure was opened for the project of 50 km of the motorway between Boaza and road II-35 from Pleven to Lovech.
The procurement announced today is for „Technical design and construction (engineering) of the site: Hemus motorway, section from km 310+940 to km 327+260“. The candidates can submit their offers until 05:30 p.m. on 10 October 2016. They will be opened on 11 October at 02:00 p.m. The project must be completed in 910 days.
