Maximum Efforts Will be Made in 2015 to Overcome the Delay in the Construction of the Gabrovo Bypass

Vice Premier Tomislav Donchev, the Ministers of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova, of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Ivaylo Moskovski and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Road Infrastructure Agency, eng. Lazar Lazarov made a complete inspection of the alignment of the Gabrovo bypass. In 2015 maximum efforts will be made to overcome the delay of a year and a half, which was accumulated during the implementation of the Project, Vice Premier Tomislav Donchev emphasized.

Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA): Damages over Roads from Floods and Heavy Rains are in the Amount of over BGN 10 Million

The damages caused to the National Road Network by the floods and the heavy rains in the last two days are in the amount of over BGN 10 million, the initial evaluations indicate. By order of the Chairman of the Road Infrastructure Agency experts of the Regional Road Administrations commenced inspections of roads and structures – bridges, retaining walls, culverts, etc., immediately after the water drained off.

Sale of Vignettes for 2015 Starting from 15 December. Prices Remain Unchanged

The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova and the Chairman of the Management Board of Road Infrastructure Agency еng. Lazar Lazarov presented the vision of the vignettes for year 2015. Thе sale starts up from 15 December this year and there will be about 2,8 million vignettes from the various kinds and for the various categories of vehicles in the distribution points up to the beginning of the Christmas Holidays. The annual vignette stickers for cars constitute over 1 million numbers of them.

10 Million BGN Have Been Invested in the Rehabilitation of Road II-86 Chepelare-Sokolovtsi, Which Goes through the Rozhen Pass

The Rehabilitation of 14 km from Road II-86 Chepelare - Sokolovtsi has been completed. Over 10 million BGN have been invested in the repair works of the road section from km 80+200 to km 94+372.44, which goes through one of the most beautiful passages in the Rhodopes Mountain – the Rozhen Pass, announced Nikolina Chapanova, Director of Projects’ Implementation under OPRD and EU Territorial Cooperation Programmes Directorate in RIA. The project is funded under the European Territorial Cooperation Programme Greece – Bulgaria 2007-2013.
