The Road Infrastructure Agency Proposes Alternative Routes to Romanian Tourists, Travelling to Varna and Burgas during the Forthcoming Holidays

The Road Infrastructure Agency recommends alternative routes to Romanian tourists travelling to the Black Sea resorts during the forthcoming Easter and St. George holidays. The map with the routes is prepared in relation to the ongoing repair of Asparuhov Bridge in the town of Varna and the purpose is to provide seamless movement of the guests of the country.  

Repairs of Key Road Directions of National Roads Start Up from 10 May

Repairs of key road directions of the national roads start up from 10 May – immediately after the completion of the journey related to the days off for Easter and Saint George’s Day. The programme for repairs of the road network was presented before the media by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova and the Chairman of the Management Board of Road Infrastructure Agency, Eng. Lazar Lazarov.  

The Government Provided BGN 119 Million for Road Projects

The Government approved additional expenditures in the amount of BGN 119 161 000 under the budget of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for 2016 for Financing Activities for Preventive Maintenance of the Road Network mainly in Northern Bulgaria, for repair rehabilitation activities and for final construction of road infrastructural projects in the country.

The Traffic along a Section of the North Speed Tangent Will Be Limited from Tomorrow to 1 May for Removal of the Temporary Road Connections at the Fork for Trebich and Lazar Mihaylov Blvd.

From tomorrow – 13 April to 1 May this year the traffic along the section from km 0+000 to km 9+139 of the North Speed Tangent will be limited. The organization is needed for removal of the temporary road connections at the fork for Trebich and Lazar Mihaylov Blvd., removal of the introduced at the end of December last year temporary organization of the traffic and the introduction of permanent organization for passing of the traffic, by which the Project will be fully completed.
